Those of you who are longer term members on here may remember a former forum member who had his own site on the Roumanian airforce in WWII. That Url is now defunct, which is a shame as there was a lot of good information on there, but I believe it has been incorporated into a general wite on the Roumanian armed forces in WWII, certainly the airforce section is copyright to the same individual that ran the previous site.

Romanian or Roumanian depends on what language you speak. It gets progressively harder to understand as you learn more languages and start to combine words.

There is also a variant "Rumanian" ;)
And talking about the site. I've logged on the site forum (www.worldwar2.ro/forum) long time ago. And I'm suprized by too... hm... "conservative" point of view of the majority of the forum members. For me they are too "fascist-oriented". For example, most of them consider war with USSR as necessary and undoubtful to occure.

Fascism was an ideology that was created and developped in Italy. What does this have to do with present day Romania and a forum regarding military history? Is it perhaps the Communist rhetoric that branded every opponent as fascist/imperialist?
The conclusion that in June 1941 the Romanian participation in a war against the Soviet Union was inevitable is not a "conservative/fascist" view, but a cold analysis of the facts and of the general state of mind back then.
