goose

I spent 2 years and about 500 hours or 4 hours per week, scaling the Grumman 3 view of the Goose with a machinist scale. I have a notebook 3/4 full of data points to prove it. My web site is non commerical so feel free to use for personal use. I am making molds and plugs, slowly. PLANS ARE AVAILABLE: 10 sheets. Many parts, a lot of cutting. EXACT Scale except the float struts are 1.5 width and are too wide, they should only be 100% scale. The scale is 1/9 (49feet/9) or 65 inch span. It uses the full scale airfoil NACA23015 (i think) and flew better than i thought it would. I admit i only flew it once. It had a broken NYrod on the elevator on the down stroke. I added 1/2 flaps and it stopped the porposing, skided on the nose, bent the gear but did not flip over. Video has not been converted to digital.
I am a nut for making it exact and I am working on a Grumman G-65 Tadpole (predecessor to Lake Amphib), and a ww2 Corsair. Have found Russian web sites with many 3 views, send email to request links to me at
