Back in Oct.2006, RomanTechnofreak mentioned a GOT for the Arsenal VG 33-39. Was that GOT ever done? I tried searching, but found nothting.

Hi and welcome,

I seem to recall a very nice topic on the Arsenal VG-30 thru 50.

The "V" in VG is Vernisse and the "G" is Jean Galtier, the two designers. The VG-30 (12 built) and 33 (19 built) had Hispano-Suiza 12Y-31s of 860 hp. The VG-36 went to the 12Y-51 of 1000 hp. The VG-39 went to the 12ZArs 15 of 1280 hp. The VG-39 switched to an Allison V-1710-39 of 1133 hp. All these were built in a quantity of 1 each. The VG-50 was a projected fighter with the Allison, but was never built.

These were fine, lightweight aircraft, but were simply overtaken by events as France surrendered and were never built in quantity. All in all pretty decent little airplanes given the times.

Hope you can find the topic! Our friend Romatic Technofreak, or "RT" for short, did a pretty good job on the topic! He usually does.

Kind words as usual, friends, but in the November '04 state of my development I didn't supply pictures. Should be corrected sooner or later!

fw190d11, you are free to order one GOT topic as next to do, like anybody too.

Regards, RT

Thanks, Wuzak!

And, RT, finding a GOT to do will be a tough one, you've covered most of them so well already! :)
