Did you know a SQD/LDR Tyler,pilot, missing in WW2?
I am trying find out about this guy.

If you want to stand a reasonable chance of tracing him you will need a few more details. Ideally his service number, although the squadron he was serving in, date posted missing and full name would at least help narrow it down a bit.
If you're UK resident the public records office would be able to help, if not if you know the squadron he served in you could try looking for an association, or if you know where the squadron was based (If it was in the UK), there may be a local museum or similar that may be able to shed some light.
If you know what aircraft he flew even that may help, since a number of types were built in relatively small numbers so may only have been flown by a handful of squadrons. If the aircraft was one of the more mainstream types though, this is not so helpful.
Good luck in any case, there are a lot of very knowledgable people on here, if you post some more details they may trigger a memory.
