I've just read Christer Bergstrom's 'Kursk - the Air Battle: July 1943'. In it he mentions many of the airfields used by both the Luftwaffe and VVS, but the map included is very sketchy to say the least. Does anyone have any good info as to where these airfields actually were? I realise that a lot of them would have been forward airfields with little or no facilities, but in a lot of cases I can find no indication as to the actual place, let alone the airfield.
One reason could be name changes - Mikoyanovka is now Oktyarbrisky I think, but a lot of the others ring no bells, even on Google, which could also be down to translation.

Any one with any info? Greatly appreciated.
