Hi ... I just wanted to know what kind of PC games do you play, obviously games related with World War 2!
I know lot of you play aviation simulators: I prefer instead wargames... I play The Operational Art of War and the superb Steel Phanters: World at war. SPWAW is simply the best wargame ever made, I think: it has an huge database, and the depth of the simulation is very very realistic. Do someone of you play it?

Hi Admin
I think that the STURMOVIK is the best WW2 plane simulator so far.

Hehe ... I just can't tell, because I don't play Aviation Simulators <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
The last one I've played long time was Aces over Pacific ... the matter of fact is that I couldn't "fly" well without a good joystick (I don't have it), and so I stopped playing aviation simultators after that one (many many years ago) ... Let's then just wait for a more "competent" guest to reply you ...

I play Warbirds.
I tried Aces High and IL2 Sturmovik.
The latter is for sure the best sim, but i prefer Warbirds since i only play online and Warbirds offers IMHO the best online environment.
jake431, Warbirds is for Mac too...

Well i'm currently playing European Air War.Its few years old but it still kicks ass with nice atmosphere and lots of skins and other stuff wich are possible to download.Another good thing is that downloads are quite small what is of great importance for me (56 K still here).Currently there is completely new mod called Desert Air War and its really nice. This live community really prolonges life of EAW and this simulation is going to stay for a long time on my hard disk;).

Close Combat series are the best war games that I could play. Also I play Steel Panthers with plesure, but it is too "strategical" for me that I prefer more "tactical" approach.
Il-2 Sturmovik is, for now, the best WW II air combat simulator.

Just looking through the old threads and came across this one. Personally I have a weakness for first person shooters alon gthe lines of the the Medal of Honor series, but I also like flight sims and some strategy games. It's basic but I do like Axis and Allies, and have done since I first played it as a board game in years gone by.
