I can find only a line drawing of the Arsenal VG-50 on the web as yet. Does anyone out there know any specifications for the VG-50?

Span, Length, Height, Wing Area, empty and loaded weights, etc.?

From what I can deduce, maybe it was designed but not built.

The rest of the Arsenal VG-series look like pretty decent airplanes, even if they were of the "lightweight" variety. Of course, looks can be deceiving, and perhaps the VG-33 and its ilk weren't very good. I can't find much on them that sheds light on the series other than a few photos and some generic text that glosses over the performance potential.

The VG.50 was never built. It was a project only, a follow-on from the VG.39 designed to use an Allison V-1710 engine.

Thanks! I figured as much since the data are simply missing.

The VG-series were designed by Ingenieur-General Vernisse and Jean Galtier. Hence, the "VG" designation.

The VB series were designed by Ingenieur-General Vernisse and M Badie. Hence, the "VB" designation.

Later, V and G were at it again and designed the VG-90 jet. 3 were built, though the third was abandoned before completion. So at least the designers survived the war.

The VG-90 competed with the Aerocentre NC1080 and the Nord 2200.
