inserting images

How do you insert images - i have some JPEGS of RAF Superbombers and pictures of proposals for the RAF B1/39 spec.

Hello PMN1,

I find it quite disappointing that nobody answers you. But it is true that in this forum pictures are not seen very often. Myself, I also don´t know it. What I know is the following: First, the pictures must be stored in your computer. Then, you must upload them to a certain webspace where they get their "image URL". When you succeded in that, you can access the pictures here by using the "mountain postcard symbol", which delivers you two symbol braces where you put the image URL in between, and this will insert the picture to your posting, if the image URL is correct. Otherwise you get a red x.

My problem is, I don´t really know how to upload a picture. I am AOL member and this browser doesn´t provide a very good service in things like this, so my motivation to plough myself through all the misunderstandings to be expected is not very strong, that´s why I did not try it myself already.

When you look towards J-Aircraft.com, they post pictures all the time:

Maybe you like to ask there how to do it. I am impatiently waiting for your pictures!

Speaking for myself, I only didn't answer because I don't have even the vaguest clue how to do this myself, so any answer I gave would have been of no use anyway!

As I think this has been asked before it may be worth having a look through the other threads though, perhaps something for a FAQ section later Taglia?

how are your preparations developped? You told us you have some JPEG files, you should be able to upload them omn www.photobucket.com, and you could insert them by quoting them from there (using the "Mountain View Postcard" symbol). Can we expect something?

Schuduk on the World at War board seems to have managed it, I'm waiting for him to post them there and then I will post them here but in the meantime I'll have a look at the link you found.

Tenmmike gave a good explanation of posting an image once it is uploaded to the web.
